IPL

IPL, or intense pulsed light, is a non-invasive treatment that uses light rather than needles or surgery. It may be suitable for unwanted hair, uneven pigmentation, facial redness and visible capillaries, congested or acne-prone skin, and early signs of ageing.

During a session, controlled pulses of light are passed over the area. The light is drawn to the darker pigment in the hair or in a pigmented patch, where it turns to gentle warmth and helps target the concern, with care taken to look after the skin around it.

Every course begins with a consultation. We look at your skin and hair type, talk through what you would like to change, and explain what may be realistic for you before anything is booked. If IPL is not the right fit for you, we will say so.
